We participated in three parades this season
(Spring 2007)

MAX'S MARDI GRAS
Brockport NY

April 28, 2007

We met at West Ridge at 8:00am, packed and boarded the buses by 8:30am. After a short
drive to Brockport we lined up, warmed up and waited to begin. We stepped off at 10:00am
marching down Main St. through Brockport and ending at the College. The weather was
grey, windy, a bit cold and definitly drizzling. This was nothing new and certainly not the worst weather we have ever performed in. Everything went well and we headed back to Greece
Apollo for our rehearsal for the evening performance in the Mighty St. Joe Alumni show. It was our best performance yet at the Classic and we did well on the concessions.

LILAC FESTIVAL PARADE
Rochester, NY

May 12, 2007

We met at West Ridge at 8:30am, packed and boarded the buses by 9:00am. The weather was cool, but sunny. We arrived at our practice site, lined up, warmed up and waited to begin. We marched down South Avenue to Highland Drive then to Goodman Street and back to the buses. It was a long parade with 125 groups participating. We never lost the energy to show Rochester who we are in one of the largest parade events around.

MEMORIAL DAY
Greece, NY

May 28, 2007

We met at West Ridge at 12:00pm and boarded the buses. We drove across town to the "warm-up" site on Janes Road and Long Pond. The weather was very warm and sunny.  We were the only band in the parade, a great opportunity to make our town proud!
