Our Schedule
8:00am – Equipment crew arrives for loading.
8:15am – Arrive at West Ridge wearing your uniform blacks (color guard in uniform). This includes a black t-shirt (it can have a design), dark shorts, black socks over the ankle, uniform shoes. Students are instructed to have had breakfast before arriving. Also, please bring a non-perishable snack for after the parade.
8:30am - Depart for parade
9:15am – Arrive at corner of Rosemont Ave and East Henrietta Road. Students change into uniform.
10:30am – Parade steps off. We are in Division D, unit number 6. Parade route: Head north on South Ave. Turn east on Highland Ave and stop at Highland and Goodman Street. Students then take shuttle (or walk) back to buses.
@12:15pm – Students arrive at buses to change out of uniform. Depart parade (Any student that is staying at the Lilac Festival, or getting a ride from a parent must have a written note for Mr. Hoffman).
@1:00pm – Arrive back at West Ridge for parent pick up.
**It is a good idea to have students carry a cell phone in their personal belongings on the bus so that they can call if there is a change in the schedule. Make sure that all personal belongings are clearly marked with student’s name.
